2010, Sacramento State Men's Club Volleyball turns 30!

2009, The Sacramento State Women have a player named to a National All Tournament Team for the first time.

2005 marks the 25th year of competition for the Men's Club Volleyball Team, while the women look to improve on their success at the NIRSA championships.

2003, Weidi Zhang, after 15 years at the helm, retires from coaching Collegiate Club Volleyball.

2002 Sacramento State formed a women's club team to compete during the league season as well as the National Championships.

2001, Sacramento State sent two men's teams for the first time to compete for a NIRSA National Championship.

1997, Sacramento State wins a second NIRSA National Championsip.

1995, Sacramento State wins it's first NIRSA National Championship!

1988, Weidi Zhang starts as coach of the men's team.

1986, The first Sacramento State player was named to a National All Tournament Team.

1980 celebrated the birth of Club Volleyball at Sac State. This team was coached by volleyball guru, Gary Colberg.
