Ruben Volta
2009 Volta (1990-1993, 1995) was the spirited leader of the Hornets first National Championship team. A 1st team, All-American setter in 1995, Ruben was known for his soft hands, gregarious personality and overall leadership skills. Volta parlayed those "on court" leadership skills into coaching, where he began working with the Women's NCAA Varsity team, and numerous local and regional club teams. In 2008, he took over the reigns from Debby Colberg, and is currently the Head Coach of the Sacramento State Women's Volleyball team.
